Marketing to Hispanics – Are You on Board?

The Recreational Boating & Fishing Foundation (RBFF) has launched a campaign to engage Hispanics in boating and fishing as research has shown this population segment are under-represented as anglers, lack participation as boat owners, and are generally unaware of aquatic conservation or preservation practices.

  • However, at 52 million strong, this is not a population segment we can ignore. In fact:
    Hispanics represent 38% of the population under age 18 in the top 10 U.S. DMA’s
  • Growth is now coming from births, not immigration; 1 of every 4 babies born in the U.S. is Hispanic
  • With an estimated $700 billion in shopping power, Hispanics are BIG business
